Lodi is at a critical moment.
The City's own financial forecasts show Lodi faces serious financial challenges over the next five years. Those challenges aren't abstract—they're reflected in deteriorating roads, delayed maintenance, aging parks, and difficult decisions about the services residents rely on every day.
Addressing those challenges will require more than balancing budgets. It will require honest conversations about where we are today, making good financial decisions, and building a stronger local economy that provides the resources our city needs for the future.
As Director of Finance, I bring more than 20 years of experience managing budgets, forecasting, and making difficult financial decisions when resources are limited. My career has taught me to evaluate facts carefully, balance competing priorities, and remain focused on long-term financial health. These are the same qualities I will bring to the City Council as we address the financial challenges ahead.
I'm running because this election is an opportunity to add real financial experience to the City Council. We can meet Lodi's challenges by being honest about where we are today, making informed financial decisions, and creating the conditions for our local economy to grow.

My husband and I were both born and raised in Lodi, and for three generations our family has proudly called this community home. It's where we've built our lives, raised our daughter, and invested in the future of the city we love.
Like many residents, I've watched Lodi change over the years. While there's still so much to be proud of, I've also become increasingly concerned that our City's financial challenges are showing up in ways residents experience every day—from deteriorating roads and aging parks to fewer resources for public safety and the services that help keep our community strong.
Professionally, I've spent more than 20 years managing budgets, forecasts, and the financial operations of a local business. Today, I serve as Director of Finance, overseeing the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations.
That experience has taught me to listen first, ask questions, understand the facts, and make informed decisions.
Throughout this campaign, I've spent time listening to residents, business owners, city staff, and community leaders. Those conversations have reinforced what I've always believed: Lodi has tremendous potential, and realizing it will require honest leadership, sound financial stewardship, and a renewed commitment to economic opportunity.
That's why I'm running.

Safe neighborhoods, well-maintained parks, public spaces, and roads; preserving the quality of life that makes Lodi special.

Leadership that listens, follows through, and stays focused on delivering results for residents.

Supporting responsible growth that attracts investment, creates well-paying jobs, and strengthens Lodi's long-term economic future.

Practical fiscal stewardship focused on accountability, responsible spending, and protecting the city's long-term financial health.

I BELIEVE STRONG FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP PROTECTS OUR QUALITY OF LIFE.
Lodi shouldn't have to choose between maintaining our roads and parks, supporting public safety, and providing the city services residents rely on.
That requires careful financial management, disciplined decision-making, and leaders who understand how today's decisions affect tomorrow's budget.
I BELIEVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IS ESSENTIAL TO LODI'S FUTURE.
While cutting costs and finding efficiencies is an important part of responsible financial management, it's only part of the solution. Lodi's long-term financial health also depends on growing our local economy.
A stronger local economy creates good-paying jobs, gives local businesses the opportunity to grow, and attracts new employers to Lodi. It also expands the City's revenue base, giving us the resources to invest in public safety, maintain our roads, parks, and public facilities, and provide the services residents rely on every day.
That's why strengthening our local economy and practicing sound financial stewardship go hand in hand.
I BELIEVE HONESTY IS THE FOUNDATION OF GOOD GOVERNMENT.
Residents deserve an honest assessment of where our city stands. We can't solve long-term financial challenges if we're unwilling to acknowledge them. Honest conversations build public trust and lead to better decisions.
I BELIEVE RESIDENTS DESERVE RESULTS.
Many of the concerns I hear today are the same concerns people have been talking about for years.
The challenges facing Lodi won't be solved overnight, but residents deserve leaders who stay focused, follow through on commitments, and remain accountable for results.
Good leadership begins with listening. It requires taking the time to understand the issues, learning from those closest to them, and doing the homework before making decisions that affect our community. That's the approach I'll bring to every decision as a member of the City Council.
I would be honored to earn your trust and the opportunity to serve the residents of Lodi.
